Berserk Anime Ends With 'The Story Continues' Message
posted on by Karen Ressler
The 24th and final episode of the new Berserk anime premiered on Friday and ended with a "The Story Continues..." message. The staff have not announced a continuation for the anime.

The new television anime project premiered in Japan in July 2016, and aired for 12 episodes. The anime's continuation premiered in Japan on April 7. Crunchyroll streamed all 24 episodes as they aired.
Funimation is streaming an English dub. Crunchyroll announced in July that it planned to dub and release the series on Blu-ray Disc and DVD. Crunchyroll and Funimation then announced a partnership in September, which includes Funimation producing English dubs of certain series streaming on Crunchyroll, and Funimation serving as a distributor for Crunchyroll's home video release titles.
The anime adapts Kentarō Miura's ongoing dark fantasy manga of the same name. The manga follows Guts, a superhumanly strong warrior who wields a large sword, as he wanders a dark medieval world filled with demons, corrupt and decadent nobles, and other horrors. Every night, he is assailed by demons, attracted to the curse branded on him after a traumatic event. He makes his way through the world on a quest to slay a former friend turned demon, who took everything away from him.
